Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information jammifyapp.com and the Jammify web player collect, how we use it and the choices you have.
1. Who we are
Jammify (“we”, “us”) operates the website jammifyapp.com and the Jammify music web player. For any privacy question, contact us through our Contact page.
2. Information we collect
- Information you give us — for example your name and email address if you create an account or send us a message.
- Account content — playlists, favourites and listening history you create in the player.
- Usage and device data — such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, referring pages and the date and time of visits, collected automatically through server logs and cookies.
- Cookies and similar technologies — described in section 4.
3. How we use information
- To provide, maintain and improve the website and the music player.
- To keep your account, playlists and settings in sync.
- To respond to messages and support requests.
- To understand how the site is used and fix problems.
- To show advertising on the website (see section 5) and measure its performance.
- To protect the service against fraud, abuse and security threats, and to meet legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We use essential cookies (for example to keep you signed in), preference cookies (to remember settings) and, where permitted, analytics and advertising cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some features may not work without them.
5. Advertising and Google AdSense
The jammifyapp.com website may display advertisements served by third parties, including Google AdSense. (The Jammify music player itself does not play audio ads.)
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
- Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalised advertising at www.aboutads.info or, in the EU, www.youronlinechoices.eu.
- Learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Where required by law (for example in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland), we ask for your consent before using non-essential cookies for advertising or analytics, and you can change your choice at any time.
6. Analytics
We may use analytics tools such as Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site. These tools collect information such as pages visited and time spent, using cookies. You can opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
7. Third-party services
Some features rely on third-party services — for example music catalogues, lyrics providers, playlist import and our hosting provider. These services receive only the information needed to perform their function and are governed by their own privacy policies. Links to other websites are not covered by this policy.
8. Data retention
We keep account information for as long as your account is active. You can ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time. Server logs are kept for a limited period for security and troubleshooting.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, UK GDPR or California’s CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, object to or restrict certain processing, withdraw consent and lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. To exercise these rights, contact us via the Contact page.
10. Children’s privacy
Jammify is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
11. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top shows when it last changed.
